La playa

Our centre is located in the región of Cantabrian in Northern Spain, in the coastal village of Loredo located in the neighbourhood of Ribamontan al Mar. This is a privileged location with beautiful coves as well as large natural beaches with fine sand, clean wáter, coastal forests and majestic cliffs. In Loredo we have one of the largest sandy beaches of this coastline, making it an ideal location to learn to surf.

Just in front of us is the famous Santa Marina Island, where you can enjoy extraordinary views of the bay of Santander, as well as have some of the best waves of all of Spain for those surfers with experience and who are looking for larger and more powerful waves and tubes.

In this paradise, you can relax and enjoy adventure and sport, always in contact with nature.

The surrounding area

The village of Loredo has all the services you could need for your stay, but if you need more, you have easy access to the city of Santander where there is a wealth of cultural activites and services.

We recommend you visit the city by the small ferry service offered by Los Reginas, crossing the bay of Santander in a beautiful and unforgettable journey. Opening soon at the ferry stop in Santander is the Botin Centre, a massive project which is sure to be an unmissable cultural experience.

Only twenty minutes away is the Cabarceno Natural Park , a different type of zoo with hundreds of species of animals in semi-freedom over a very large area. It is considered to be one of the top tourist destinations of all of Northern Spain.

You can also enjoy a great variety of sites like the Roman town of Santillana del Mar and the famous caves of Altamira, the famous mountains of Picos De Europa using the massive cable car in Fuente Dé or Gaudí’s house in the beautiful town of Comillas.

And if you decide to visit us in Winter or Spring, we’re only 45 minutes from the Alto Campoo ski station. We’re located in one of the few places in the world where you can surf and ski in the same day!!
